Dr. Frank Ocasio is Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Management.
He received his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College. He then completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the tri-institutional encompassing training at Cornell New York Presbyterian, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and the Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr. Ocasio also received specialty training at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai where he completed his fellowship in Interventional Pain Management.
Dr. Ocasio is the Director of Acute Pain Management as well as the Chair of Pain Management at Huntington Hospital. In addition, he developed the Enhanced Recovery after Surgery (ERAS) Committee at Huntington Hospital in order speed recovery and improve patient outcomes for some of the most painful surgeries including orthopedic and spine surgery.
Dr. Frank Ocasio is an assistant professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra.
Dr. Ocasio has an extensive background in treating pain and has served patients in the community for over a decade. His focus is to provide patients with a thorough and detailed education as to their specific medical condition(s) then provide a personalized treatment plan that leads restored function and improved quality of life without medications.
